Get to know McCormick Ranch
The most treasured part of McCormick Ranch is the “Greenbelt” and the lushness of this master-planned community. The “Greenbelt” was actually a flood control project that was originally supposed to be a concrete channel to solve the flooding. Concerned citizens offered an alternative solution using turf grass instead to control the erosion from the water instead. In 1984 they finished the Indian Bend Wash a project that started in the 1960’s. This project was then connected to McCormick Ranch and the developers were very creative using this flood easement that ran through to make McCormick Ranch Golf course, which consists of two 18-hold championship golf courses Pine and Palm.

We both grew up in McCormick Ranch and Scottsdale Ranch and now raise our families in McCormick Ranch. We genuinely love this area and wouldn’t choose any other place to live.
